IMG 20160304 WA0027Held between March 3 and 6 within the framework of the Travel Exhibition (Utazas Kiallitas), the fifth Africa Expo and Fair has concluded. This year's title sponsor was HTCC, the Hungarian Trade and Cultural Center. The event was opened by Sandor Balogh, President of the African Hungarian Union, which was followed by the Commercial Opportunities in Africa conference on the same day.

In the four-day exhibition, visitors in addition to learning about a number of African countries could buy gift items, books in the individual stands and get an insight into the culture of Africa as well. The main stage was occupied by, among others, Abdoul Camera, a Senegalese dance association, who created a fantastic atmosphere. It also hosted a drum show, a musical presentation and a fashion show, which were all great success. Those interested also heard interesting African-themed presentations. One of these presentations was by Pam Young who came here straight from Mali to talk about the African operations of Village Ventures, a non-profit organization, headed by her. Amar Baba-Ahmed also presented, who is the chairman of the Chamber of Agriculture Dakhla, who, after the presentation, has signed a cooperation agreement with HTCC represented by Sandor Balogh.

The stand of the African Hungarian Union was also visited by many people where they could get more information on our projects.
