The African - Hungarian Union won a prize at the Spokesperson’s Ball
The Spokespersons' Ball was held this weekend and the African-Hungarian Union was one of the prize winners. In 2016 it was AHU who won the Prize for Providing Accurate Information, which was received by Sándor Balogh, founder and president of AHU.
Donation to the disabled children of Bamako
The disabled children of Bamako recieved their donations. The donating parents surprised them with personalised gifts, which brought great joy to these young people. They recieved the donations via the Budapest-Bamako Rally.

Budapest- Bamako Rally 2016
The crew at the African Hungarian Union (AHU) and the organisers of the Budapest-Bamako Rally have been working together since 2008. This is the 9th time we have set out on this race where the participants visit Morocco, Mauritania and Mali.
In 2016 AHU still manages the humanitarian side of the race, collecting, coordinating and distributing the donations offered by participants. Just like in past years, the donations will be given to educational, social and medical facilities in the visited countries.
Humanitarian Activities
The African Hungarian Union is the official humanitarian partner of the Budapest-Bamako Rally and the Saharun Adventure races. Our tasks during these events is to organize the collection, transportation and distribution of the donations to the people in need (hospitals, orphanages, schools and poor communities). Throughout the years we have sent a remarkable amount of donation to Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, Senegal, Bissau-Guinea, and Tunisia.
